Course Reserves

Reserves are course materials made available for use in your course. They are organized into Reading Lists. Physical materials are located in the ZSR library and electronic items are available in Canvas via the Course Materials option in the Navigation Menu.

For Students

On the Canvas page for a course, look for the Course Materials navigation option in the left-hand menu to access the reading list.

For Faculty

The Course Materials option needs to be enabled in Canvas for each course you teach. Once added, you can create and manage your materials (organized into Reading Lists) from within Canvas.

You can add pretty much anything:

Physical items such as books, DVDs, and AV equipment
Digital items such as articles or book chapters
Online items like websites and streaming videos

Off-Campus Access

Are you connecting from off campus? In some cases, to get access to reserves materials from off-campus, you may need to use VPN. See our Off-Campus Access help page for more information.

Non-Canvas Access

You can also access course materials outside Canvas. This link will only work if you are logged in to your WFU Google account.
